Originally released on June 10, 1980, it was the final Bob Marley album to appear during his lifetime. Moving between reflective, spiritually charged songs and the more immediate moments of »Could You Be Loved« and »Coming In From The Cold«, »Uprising« carries a powerful musical intensity. The album also includes »Redemption Song«, one of the most stripped-back and defining songs in his catalogue.
