With Black Sunday (1993), Cypress Hill cemented their status as one of the most influential West Coast hip-hop groups: dark, psychedelic, and driven by the iconic voices of B-Real and Sen Dog, as well as the heavy, smoky beats of DJ Muggs. The album is considered a milestone of ’90s hip-hop and spawned classics like “Insane in the Brain,” which left a lasting mark on the sound of the era. This 180g pressing on 2 LPs offers plenty of space for the powerful, bass-heavy mix and is a high-quality edition for collectors who want to experience this cult classic in its best analog form.
