2xLP 180g Black Vinyl in Gatefold Jacket with Printed Inner Sleeves

Trying Times marks a bold new chapter in James Blake’s ever-evolving career. His seventh studio album and first fully independent release (via Good Boy Records), the record sees Blake distilling his singular blend of soul, electronic textures, and intimate songwriting into a deeply reflective body of work. The album navigates the tension between connection and solitude, exploring how love, anxiety, and the pressures of contemporary life intersect in an age defined by instability and uncertainty.

Anchored by the haunting lead single “Death Of Love,” Trying Times fuses Blake’s signature atmospheric production with emotive vocal performances and richly layered arrangements.

The album features guest contributions from UK rapper Dave and Los Angeles-based vocalist Monica Martin.
