Your order will be sent out as soon as all items are on stock. Items marked as “Available for immediate delivery” usually will be sent out within 24 hours. In order to wait for potentially missing stock, your order can be on hold for up to 4 weeks until all products are available. After those 4 weeks all available items will be sent out. Products not included need to be re-ordered.

With “Classics Vol. 1” (CV1), Modeselektor are releasing a special edition that functions like a musical résumé. It's no coincidence that CV stands for Curriculum Vitae. Szary and Gernot originally wanted to re-record old tracks from their first two albums, “Hello Mom!” and “Happy Birthday!” But what began as a reconstruction turned almost entirely into something new. A fresh collection of pieces that embodies the spirit of their early releases without simply copying them. The duo looks back and creates the future in the process. Tracks such as “KILL BILL Vol.4,” “Edgar,” and other album titles served as source material, were taken apart and reassembled countless times, reinterpreted, and then, in most cases, used only as abstract inspiration. The result is a retrospective that has emancipated itself. A bold experiment, a failed attempt in the very best sense.

“Classics Vol. 1” thus builds an unexpected bridge between then and tomorrow and sums up everything that defines Modeselektor: curiosity, chaos, humor, and an unwavering need to constantly draw something new from their own history. And what better way to reflect, gain new creative momentum, and recharge your batteries than a tour? Modeselektor will be going on an extensive concert tour in 2026 and will also be playing at several festivals worldwide.
