Die Dixie Cups sind eine amerikanische Popmusik-Girlgroup aus den 1960er Jahren. Das Trio bestand aus den Schwestern Barbara und Rosa Lee Hawkins sowie ihrer Cousine Joan Johnson. Sie sangen erstmals in der Grundschule zusammen. Ursprünglich sollten sie Little Miss and the Muffets heißen, wurden aber kurz vor ihrer ersten Veröffentlichung in The Dixie Cups umbenannt. 
Ihre erste Veröffentlichung, "Chapel of Love", erwies sich als ihr größter Hit, obwohl sie weitere Hits mit "People Say" (#12, 1964), "You Should Have Seen the Way He Looked at Me" (#39, 1964), "Iko Iko" (#20, 1965) und "Little Bell" (#51, 1965) hatten. "Chapel of Love" wurde zu einem kultigen Hochzeitslied, das in Filmen wie Full Metal Jacket und Father of the Bride zu hören war.
