In 2011, 100 members of his own profession voted Carlos Kleiber “the greatest conductor of all time”, but he also remains the personification of the genius recluse. He made few recordings but they are among the greatest treasures of the classical catalogue, gloriously showcasing the Kleiber characteristics of intellectual rigour, passion and perfectionism.

For the first time, this set unites Carlos Kleiber’s complete recordings on Deutsche Grammophon on two additional Pure Audio Blu-ray discs including Dolby Atmos
