An American in Paris... On his second French album, recorded in Paris in October 1955, the trumpeter can be heard, in contrast to the predecessor, with well-known standards, presented by a quartet that Baker had formed ad hoc with the French pianist Gérard Gustin, the American bassist Jimmy Bond and the Swedish drummer Bert Dahlander. World-class jazz from an international formation, captured in the then capital of European jazz. Remastered from the original European analog tapes, 180g pressing, original cover and liner notes.
