With Around The Fur, Deftones cemented their status as a style-defining force between alternative metal, shoegaze, and post-hardcore in 1997. The album is considered a raw, atmospheric milestone of the late 90s, in which harshness and melancholy find a fascinating balance. This 180g pressing brings back the powerful, detailed sound of classics like “My Own Summer (Shove It)” with impressive depth, while the iconic artwork unfolds its dark aesthetic to its fullest in large vinyl format.
