Release date: January 22, 2016

With “Kontakt,” German trio Fjort deliver one of the most powerful and defining albums in the German post-hardcore scene. Following “D'accord,” the band sharpen their sound even further — more focused, more cohesive, and emotionally uncompromising.

At this point, comparisons are no longer necessary: Fjort sound like Fjort.

Intensity, Emotion & Sonic Force

“Kontakt” is a gripping post-hardcore maelstrom driven by raw energy, echoing melancholy, and brutally honest lyrics. The songs erupt with urgency, balancing aggression and vulnerability in equal measure. There is no empty drama here — only authenticity and emotional truth.

Themes of doubt, anger, uncertainty, and inner conflict are delivered with conviction and depth. Powerful guitar work, relentless drums, and an atmosphere charged with tension make this album both cathartic and unforgettable.
