With "Peter and the Wolf", Deutsche Grammophon presents an extraordinary recording of Sergei Prokofiev's beloved orchestral classic. Dudamel's colorful interpretation allows each instrument to become a tangible character in the story. With her clear, incisive tone and great expressiveness, the multi-award-winning American actress Viola Davis captivates as the narrator. In this unique constellation, Prokofiev's fairy tale becomes both an orchestral work and a lively radio play.
The album is available digitally and on high-quality vinyl, designed with original artwork by renowned artist Alexandra Grant.
