Release date: April 17, 2026

Oscar Peterson's trio with bassist Ray Brown and drummer Ed Thigpen was among the most popular and swinging jazz ensembles of the 1960s. Live, the perfectly attuned musicians were an unbeatable team. Verve Records has now discovered a completely unreleased concert from the trio's heyday in its archives: for two weeks in August 1960, the three musicians thrilled audiences at Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit. The planned LP release of the concert recording never materialized and will now delight his numerous fans, shortly after Peterson's 100th birthday. 1-CD with 9 track highlights.
