Originally written and recorded by Mark Capanni, it was the Jackson Sisters who turned this track into an enduring anthem. With top-tier production and arrangements by Gene Page (known for his work with Barry White), Pete Moore (of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles), and Bobby Taylor, the result is a timeless blend of soul, funk, and disco.

Although first released in 1973 and earning the group nominations at the Black Image Awards as well as “Best New Artists” by Record World Magazine, the song truly took off in the 1980s within the UK rare groove scene. This is where the extended version gained cult status – and it’s now available for the first time on 7" vinyl.
