The Halloween looks of Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo and co.
This year, too, many stars took to the stage in costume for Halloween —Harry Styles went as himself, Olivia Rodrigo came as Marie Antoinette, and which version of Britney Spears did Paris Hilton choose as her inspiration this year?
In 2026, once again, plenty of stars hit Halloween parties—above all, of course, the spectacular Halloween bash thrown by Heidi Klum, who appeared as a severed hand this year. But it wasn’t just there: musicians also went all out, especially at concerts and stage shows.
Rita Ora paid tribute to the recently deceased Dolly Parton with her costume: wearing a blonde wig and an unbuttoned, tied-up blouse, she impersonated the country star. Lizzo also dressed up as Dolly Parton this Halloween.
The award for the biggest self-reference this Halloween goes to Harry Styles, who simply took to the stage as himself. But while we now know the pop star as a colorful fashion icon in one-piece outfits, this time he opted for a very understated look—with deep significance: For his annual Harryween show at Madison Square Garden, the former One Direction star took to the stage in the outfit he had worn for his X-Factor audition in 2010. He also played Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely—just as he had back then before the critical judges, who put Harry Styles through to the next round. He even repeated his introduction: “I work in a bakery.”
Previously, Harry had dressed up as Elvis Presley. His former bandmate Niall Horan, on the other hand, dressed as Woody at his show in Munich—the little cowboy from the Toy Story saga.
Lily Allen as Blue Dot Fever
Lily Allen took a more critical and abstract approach, wearing an outfit completely covered in blue polka dots. What was she trying to portray? A poorly selling show. The so-called “Blue Dot Fever,” inspired by the blue-marked empty seats on ticket sales websites, has already made headlines several times this year. Tours with lots of blue dots—that is, many unsold tickets—have in some cases been canceled due to illness, though many suspect the real reason was poor ticket sales. Allen, too, had to downsize some of the stops on her North American tour.
At the same show, Wolf Alice also turned heads, as they are currently accompanying Olivia Rodrigo on her tour of America. The British band dressed up as the vampires from the classic The Lost Boys. The band embraced the film's punk-inspired vampire aesthetic, appearing with teased hair, leather jackets, theatrical fangs, and bloody makeup.

Paris Hilton as VMA 2001 Britney Spears
Another annual Halloween highlight is Paris Hilton dressing up as Britney Spears, which she has been doing for several years now. This year, she chose one of Britney's most iconic looks: With a snake and a crop top, she recreated Britney's 2001 MTV performance of I’m A Slave 4 U.
