The 2024 single “Fear of Living” already caught people's attention, 2025 saw the release of the thrilling “Deep End,” and now it's getting real—the first new album with 11 Lemonheads originals since the self-titled red album! Evan Dando still has what it takes! Long in the making, shaped by changing geographical circumstances, and created with a host of welcome guests, it is a bold, melodic affirmation of one of alternative rock's most distinctive voices. An album that sounds both fresh and familiar: rooted in the hallmarks of the Lemonheads' best work, but expanded by years of life experience and a new environment. Love Chant was produced by Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Apollo Nove and brings together old friends and new partners: J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr), Juliana Hatfield, and Tom Morgan are back on board, along with producer Bryce Goggin (Pavement, Antony and the Johnsons), Erin Rae from Nashville, John Strohm from the Blake Babies, and Nick Saloman from The Bevis Frond. Adam Green from the cult New York band The Moldy Peaches is also involved as co-writer on the laid-back country detour “Wild Thing.” Dando adds another great chapter to the Lemonheads legacy.
