    Release date: April 17, 2026

Without a doubt, DAS LUMPENPACK has become one of the most relevant German rock bands of the decade. Their sound blends indie, punk, and contemporary German rock into something that feels both raw and beautiful, powerful yet deeply emotional.

With over 780,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 400 million streams, and a strong social following, the band is far beyond insider status. Collaborations with artists like Alligatoah, Sebastian Madsen, Adam Angst, and Sportfreunde Stiller, plus sold-out tours and major festival appearances, speak for themselves.

Released on April 17, 2026, “Before Courage Leaves You” is their most confident album to date. Created alongside producers Beray Habip (FJØRT, Kochkraft durch KMA) and Fabian Langer (AnnenMayKantereit, Faber), the record focuses on clarity, minimalism, and impact.

The album delivers songs that explore social imbalance and personal struggles—without bitterness, but with honesty and depth. Tracks like “ALLES SCHWARZ,” “SCHLUSS MIT REDEN,” and “RÜCKEN AN RÜCKEN” highlight a band that has evolved into a more distinct, direct, and emotionally accessible sound.
