Xiu Xiu release “Eraserhead Xiu Xiu”, an experimental album on Polyvinyl. The ultra clear vinyl LP incl. MP3 accompanies a new live concert and film project, using field recordings, homemade instruments, organ, modular synths, vocals, electrical interference and elements of musique concrète to approach the sonic world of David Lynch’s “Eraserhead”. Moving between sound collage, dark tension and radical experimentation, this is an intense alternative release for listeners drawn to Xiu Xiu’s uncompromising sound.
