Release date: October 12, 2018

System of a Down’s Hypnotize was released in 2005 as the second part of the double album project with *Mezmerize* and marks a late high point in the band’s discography. The album continues to combine complex song structures with politically charged lyrics and expands the band’s signature alternative metal sound with more melodic, at times almost folk-inspired elements. In the context of the 2000s, “Hypnotize” remains a striking testament to System Of A Down’s stylistic originality, a work that also unfolds its dynamic production and dense atmosphere on vinyl.
