Release date: May 14, 2021

“Delta Kream” by The Black Keys is a deliberately stripped-down blues album that delves deep into the duo’s musical roots and reveals their early influences. Released on vinyl in 2021, the album features interpretations of classic Hill Country blues tracks and stands as a return to form within their discography following more commercially oriented phases. Sonically raw and direct, the album thrives on repetitive grooves and minimalist instrumentation that emphasize the genre’s original spirit. For collectors, “Delta Kream” serves as a contextual bridge between tradition and the Black Keys’ modern blues-rock aesthetic.
