The gangster film "La Scoumoune" pulled people into the cinema not least because of its star Jean-Paul Belmondo. The score by François de Roubaix is unusually catchy, based on a memorable title theme, the sound is sometimes nostalgic (the film is set in 1944), sometimes groovy, sometimes electronic. The theme has been used several times as an advertising jingle and sampled by DJs.

140g double LP in a gatefold sleeve with insert, featuring nine previously unreleased tracks and four cover versions and remixes by Alessandro Baldessari, Jean-Michel Bernard and Benjamin de Roubaix.
