The Oscar Peterson Trio (with Ray Brown ob Bass and Ed Thigpen on drums) is joined by a particularly strong big band conducted by Ernie Wilkins. There is enough energy from Peterson's piano alone to light up a large city, while the all-star line-up swings like crazy. The band includes James Moody, Cannonball Adderley, Nat Adderley on cornet, Roy Eldridge, Snooky Young, Clark Terry, Jimmy Cleveland, Slide Hampton, Melba Liston and Julius Watkins.
