Release date: October 12, 2018

Mezmerize by System Of A Down marks a pivotal point in the band’s later work and was released in 2005 as the first part of a conceptual double album. Musically, the album distills the band’s signature blend of alternative metal, political punk, and Armenian influences into a more precise, often more accessible form, without losing any of its lyrical edge. With its compact structure and dynamic production, *Mezmerize* on vinyl unfolds an immediate presence that brings the tensions between melody and aggression into particularly sharp relief. For collectors, this work remains a striking testament to System Of A Down’s stylistic maturity in the context of the 2000s.
